In five short videos for investment advisors, the EURENI project explains various aspects of the current EU legislation on sustainable investment.
As part of the project “Sustainable Finance Qualification of Financial Advisors”, the Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen e.V. has published five short videos explaining different aspects of sustainability in financial consulting. The videos address financial advisors confronted with new challenges caused by amendments in EU regulations and the resulting requirements in terms of sustainability. The free explanatory videos give financial advisors the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the current EU legislation, and to therefore increase their consultancy qualifications in the field of sustainability in financial investments.
The videos cover the following specific contents:
- EU Action Plan & Financial Consulting,
- EU Taxonomy,
- the Disclosure Regulation,
- the “Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II” (MiFID II),
- and the consultation process.
In addition to the videos, the project website offers other educational opportunities, including a free introductory course on sustainability in financial consulting as part of the amendments in the EU financial markets directive MiFID II. The website also provides several explanatory videos for private investors.
The videos were produced in collaboration with the Austrian Society for Environment and Technology (ÖGUT), the Forum pour l'Investissement Responsable (FIR) and the Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile (ItaSIF).
