Focus. On Climate Action. – The IKI Photo Contest 2025

The International Climate Initiative (IKI) has launched its 2025 photo contest under the title “Focus. On Climate Action.”

The competition runs from 23 July to 12 September 2025 and is open to anyone documenting how IKI-funded projects around the world contribute to climate action, adaptation, and biodiversity conservation.

The contest is looking for authentic insights into project activities – from reforestation and sustainable agriculture to technological solutions or capacity-building efforts. The best submissions will be showcased at COP30 in Belém (Brazil) and featured across IKI’s digital platforms.

The winners will be selected by a jury of photography, climate, and biodiversity experts. In addition, the IKI community will be invited to vote online for their favourites in the second half of September. The winning photos will be announced in October.
