01.03.2021 | Effective 1 March 2021, Stefan Demuth is the new Commercial Managing Director at Zukunft-Umwelt-Gesellschaft (ZUG) gGmbH.
With a background in public administration, he brings a wealth of experience in project sponsoring to his new position.
After joining project sponsor Jülich in a senior management position in 2001, in 2010 he was appointed Head of the Central Services, Development and Quality Division, while also fulfilling the role of Deputy Managing Director at Jülich.
He had gained considerable expertise in funding policy in a previous position at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), where he was active in various funding departments and worked in a number of specialist fields that included renewables.
Together with Corinna Enders, Stefan Demuth will be responsible for day-to-day company management in his new role. He succeeds Michael Kracht, who is returning to the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety after a three-year stint at ZUG.
