National Climate Initiative moves to ZUG

Effective 1 January 2022, ZUG will take on the programme responsibility for the National Climate Initiative (NKI) previously managed by the agency Projektträger Jülich (PtJ).

Effective 1 January 2022, ZUG will take on the programme responsibility for the National Climate Initiative (NKI) previously managed by the agency Projektträger Jülich (PtJ).

There will be no major changes emanating from the handover for parties submitting outlines or applications, grant recipients and contractors. The programme responsibility transition is also likely to include the transfer of the project team from PtJ to ZUG. This will ensure uninterrupted support and a smooth transition for the continuation of NKI projects.

Information on all relevant changes in line with the programme responsibility handover will be published in advance on the ZUG and PtJ websites. The new respective contact details for staff at ZUG will also be announced during the third quarter of 2021. PtJ will remain the relevant point of contact for all grant recipients it has previously supported, until the end of 2021.
