The German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU) has launched a new funding round of the thematic selection procedure under International Climate Initiative (IKI).
Although originally planned for November 2021, the next International Climate Initiative (IKI) thematic selection procedure is postponed for six months and is to take place in May/June 2022.
The Federal Environment Ministry (BMU) investments in international climate projects reach a record high. In 2020, the BMU supported projects in developing countries and emerging economies with 601.2 million euros.
