Corinna Enders graduated in law. After a brief spell working as a lawyer she joined the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) in 2008, where she worked in various divisions. From 2012 to 2016 she was seconded to the Federal Foreign Office and assigned to the German Embassy in Nairobi, as Deputy Permanent Representative of Germany to the United Nations Development Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat). Back in Berlin, she was a member of the German team at the international climate change negotiations, focusing for the most part on organising COP23 in Bonn under the Fiji presidency.
Corinna Enders has been Managing Director at ZUG since 1 January 2018.
Commercial Managing Director
Stefan Demuth has a background in public administration, and worked at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research from 1988 to 2001. At BMBF, he was active in a number of funding departments as well as the Department for Organisation (from 1998).
In 2001, he moved to project sponsor Jülich, where he was Head of the Central Services, Development and Quality Division from 2010, while also acting as Deputy Managing Director.
Effective 1 March 2021, Stefan Demuth is the new Commercial Managing Director at ZUG.
