    European Environment Initiative (EURENI)

    Through the EURopean ENvironment Initiative (EURENI), the Federal Ministry for the Environment supports projects that promote civil society dialogue and exchange among governmental and non-governmental actors on environmental issues in Europe.

    International Climate Initiative (IKI)

    The IKI is an important part of the German government's international climate finance commitment. From 2008 to 2021, IKI has approved more than 800 climate and biodiversity projects in over 150 countries worldwide with a total funding volume of 5 billion euros.
